Ultrafast Wi-Fi available at Cranleigh Classic Car Show

Car fanatics attending Cranleigh’s renowned classic motor show will benefit from “lightning fast” broadband connectivity for the first time thanks to a leading broadband supplier.

Box Broadband is set to provide a free public access Wi-Fi to one of the biggest classic car shows in the South East of England, making it easier for attendees to stay connected with their friends.

Over 1,200 classic cars will be on display during the family friendly event, which is taking place on Sunday, August 14th at Cranleigh Show Ground between 9.30am and 4.30pm.

A selection of local businesses will also be trading at Cranleigh Car Show – with the ultrafast wifi hotspots set to help them take cashless payment transactions.

All profits from the show, which is organised by Cranleigh & District Lions, will be used to help people in need in the community.

Philip Loring, PR and Communications Officer for Cranleigh & District Lions, said:

The internet hotspots will be an extremely useful addition for vendors and ourselves as the ultrafast broadband will enable faster card payments.

We value our partnership with Box Broadband, in working hard for the community.

He added:

Raising funds from our events is massively important because without these funds we would not be able to help those in need in our community. So we are very grateful to have Box Broadband’s support for the Cranleigh Classic Car Show.

Graham Sargood, Chief Executive Officer for Cranleigh-based Box Broadband, said:

It is an honour to connect the biggest car show in the South East of England with lightning fast internet speeds.

We are proud to support community events, so it is incredible to have the opportunity to get behind this prestigious car show.

The Cranleigh Classic Car Show hosts more than 1,000 vehicles of all shapes and sizes and a large autojumble, as well as family friendly attractions.
