The Rotary Club of Cranleigh Christmas and New Year Appeal closed earlier this week and they are pleased to report a record amount raised of £2,500.

The donations came through a Just Giving Campaign, a one-day street collection (rather than the clubs usual three days), collection boxes in various businesses around Cranleigh and cheque donations.

A very generous donation was received from Hans Christmas Andersen (Santa Fir), one of the Club’s Business Partners.

The total amount raised will be shared between two very deserving local charities RIDING FOR THE DISABLED CRANLEIGH GROUP and ROWLEYS CENTRE FOR THE COMMUNITY.

The Club wishes to thank EVERYONE who contributed to the appeal.
