Jigsaw Run offers last chance to run Top Gear track near Cranleigh

Runners have just one more chance to take part in the popular 10k Jigsaw Run around the Dunsfold Park airfield.

This fast, flat run on 24th November, now in its eighth and final year, includes the runway and perimeter road at Dunsfold Park – home to the BBC’s Top Gear and featured in many James Bond and many other Hollywood movies.

All proceeds from the event go to the Jigsaw Trust, which runs the Jigsaw School for children with autism and the JigsawPlus Centre for Lifelong Learning for adults, both based on Dunsfold Park. The trust itself is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The popularity of the event is reflected in the increase in the field to 500 runners this year. The flat track offers a real opportunity to achieve a personal best – indeed, the course record has been broken twice in the last three years.

The run takes place at 10.30am on Sunday 24th November. The entry fee is £21 to running club members and £23 to others. There is chip timing, and a bespoke medal for all runners, along with prizes for the first man and first woman.

The event is again sponsored by financial planners Informed Choice, who are based in Cranleigh and recently opened a second office in Petersfield.
