How much do you know about Waverley Borough Council’s economic strategy for the area?
Its proposed economic vision for the borough is to make a great place for local businesses to grow and flourish where our communities have access to local employment and where everyone shares in the economic prosperity.
As your local Chamber of Commerce, this is a vision we wholeheartedly support.
Our speaker for this breakfast meeting is Cllr Jim Edwards, Portfolio Holder for Economic and Community Development at Waverley Borough Council.
Jim has lived in the local area for 38 years. After a fulfilling Army career, he joined a retail company rising to Director and for 19 years he ran Basix Weyhill, employing and serving the local people. He retired in 2013.
Come along to our final breakfast meeting of the year to hear from Jim about Waverley’s economic strategy and get answers to your questions.
There will also be a delicious breakfast at this award-winning pub and opportunities for networking with your Chamber colleagues.
Spaces at this breakfast meeting are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.
