Sarah Pettyfer is a professional genealogist, family and house history researcher and also a Solicitor (none practising).

She is a member of AGRA (Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives) and RQG (Register of Qualified Genealogists.

Sarah researches both family histories and house histories, using records available online and more importantly those often lessor known resources available in local and national archives. She particularly specialises in records of the historical courts: Manorial Courts, Chancery courts, Quarter session and Assize courts and Ecclesiastical courts.

Based in Cranleigh, Surrey, Sarah has easy access to archives in Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex, and London, in particular the National Archives, London Metropolitan Archives, British Library and the Society of Genealogists.
