Welcome to December at Memory Lane – A Time of Festive Songs and Companionship!

As the festive season approaches, Memory Lane is imbued with the spirit of Christmas, inspired by the timeless nursery rhyme, “Christmas is coming”.

We’re excited to announce that on Monday, December 4th, at 2:15 PM, the Cranleigh Arts Centre will resonate with the joyous sounds of the Wintershall Singers.

Under the skillful direction of Stuart White, this talented ensemble will set the tone for our holiday celebrations with a special concert.

But the merriment doesn’t end with the last note. Post-concert, guests will have the pleasure of mingling with the singers over afternoon tea complemented by delicious cakes, capping off what promises to be a delightful afternoon.

Memory Lane is more than just a gathering; it’s a place where guests, including those experiencing dementia, can indulge in the joy of singing and engage in both physical and mental activities designed for fun and stimulation.

While participants revel in the camaraderie and activities, carer partners can take a moment for themselves, enjoying some pampering and receiving valuable insights from professional speakers.

Since October 2018, Memory Lane has found a home at the Cranleigh Arts Centre, growing in numbers to welcome between 30 to 40 attendees.

Our meetings are held from 2:15 PM to 4:15 PM on the first and third Monday of each month. Details of our meeting on 18th December to follow!

We extend a warm invitation to everyone, and our team of friendly volunteers is always here to welcome you.
