Cranleigh Folk Festival coming to the village in September

The official launch of a new Cranleigh Folk Festival sees three days of live music coming to the village this year.

Taking place in Knowle Park, Cranleigh on 13th, 14th and 15th September 2019, the Cranleigh Folk Festival promises to become a late summer highlight on the folk music calendar.

Event organisers are expecting as many as 3,000 visitors on each of the three days, to hear from electrifying folk, blues and country music acts.

Cranleigh Folk Festival has been created to raise money for newly formed charity 1170, which is supporting St Nicolas Church in Cranleigh.

It will feature two live music stages, a ‘village tent’ and on-site camping for the weekend.

Legendary guitarist Jethro Tull is leading the headliners already announced for the event, alongside Martin Barre, Emma Stevens, and Kissed and Crowned.

A family weekend ticket, including camping, is available for £179, with individual days tickets on sale from £24.
