As the festive season unfolds, Cranleigh witnessed a truly heartwarming gathering at the recent Memory Lane event. 

The event, a beautiful testament to the spirit of Christmas, was not just a celebration but a moment of joyous connection for the community.

A Musical Treat from the Wintershall Singers

The highlight of the event was the enchanting performance by the Wintershall Singers. Their melodious voices and festive tunes captivated the audience, bringing them into the true spirit of Christmas. 

The Wintershall Singers, known for their exceptional talent, added a touch of magic to the evening with their harmonious renditions of classic Christmas carols and songs.

A Community Coming Together

The event was more than just a musical extravaganza; it was a social gathering that brought together people from all walks of life. 

A striking image from the event shows the singers surrounded by an audience of over 50 people, all engrossed in a delightful social time. 

The warmth of the gathering was further enhanced by the serving of tea and homemade cakes, making it a perfect winter evening.

A Special Finale and Looking Ahead to 2024

The Memory Lane event series is set to conclude with a grand finale on Monday, 18th December. This final gathering promises to be a spectacular affair with in-house professional musicians presenting a programme filled with seasonal events and activities. 

This event is designed for guests and carers, ensuring everyone is part of the festive cheer.

As we bid farewell to 2023 and welcome the New Year, Memory Lane has exciting plans. 

The New Year will kick off with an exclusive party for all the Carer Partners. This event is a heartfelt gesture to acknowledge and celebrate the unsung heroes who care for those experiencing dementia. 

Meanwhile, the MLTeam will entertain and engage their guests, creating a joyous and inclusive atmosphere.
